Creating a natural wildlife habitat on your property has the potential to attract countless species of  fascinating birds, insects and mammals. This in turn, will  provide endless,  ever-changing entertainment for all your senses to enjoy. Since I created my own personal "nature sanctuary," I've been rewarded handsomely, throughout the years, with an  overwhelming abundance of wildlife to adore.
Large or small, any size habitat can be certified by the National Wildlife Federation, as long as all the crucial elements are in place. These include food, water, cover and places to raise young. This can be achieved using a relatively small area, or it can be spread out to include nature paths and interlocking gardens. Food--  this can be as simple as planting a couple of small plants or trees that produce berries. Water-- here you can have an elaborate pond / brook set-up, or just put up a bird-bath that's kept clean with fresh water. Cover--  brush piles, and planting small ever-green hedges or shrubs can suffice here, or go all out with more elaborate greenery. A place to raise young--  ever-green trees or shrubs do nicely to protect vulnerable young from predators. Willy's Water World would love to not only get your garden certified, but would also love to show you how creating a personal sanctuary for nature, can bring you years of joy and a sense of peace and harmony with nature.
